Wibby Wednesday featuring Bryan Copeland

Bryan is on a run of shows to promote the imminent release of his debut solo album, “Whiskey Will Never Leave Me”. Music starts at 6pm, with a mix of original music and covers to match. Different genres and vibes for all music lovers.

Bryan Copeland seamlessly weaves a tapestry of styles and sounds around his powerful voice to produce a show like nobody else around. His usage, but not over reliance, of looping adds even more to the party. Whether it’s an original or cover song, you’re bound to pay attention.

Bryan’s work spans a decade and a half; first with his band Luna J. (2008-2020), and more recently, solo (2017-present). As the main songwriter/producer for the band, Bryan wrote and released: four full albums, two EP’s, and six singles. And, as a solo artist, he has written/produced/released nine singles, as well as a limited release live album. “How the Streets have Changed” and “Honeybee”, both released in 2021, were written and performed with two up and coming artists you may have heard of; Jackson Stokes (Allman Family Revival, Devon Allman Project, Jackson Stokes Band), and Abbey Waterworth, respectively.

Bryan has shared the stage with Grammy award winning artists, as well as other big names. That list includes: Robert Cray (Multiple Grammy winner, blues hall of famer, Eric Clapton/John Mayer/BB King collaborator), Jake Wesley Rogers, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Maxwell Hughes (Grammy nominee as a member of The Lumineers), Jason Ricci (played 2015 Rock and roll hall of fame induction with Zach Brown and Tom Morello), Jackson Stokes, Shawn Eckels and Speakeasy (Shawn now plays with Andy Frasco and the UN), Crazy Town, and many others. He has also been featured on local and regional radio and TV countless times; from Ozarks Live performances, to the Emmy winning The Mystery Hour, and radio stations from Poplar Bluff, MO to Lake of the Ozarks. During the pandemic, in 2020, Bryan was scouted by McNulty casting of NBC’s The Voice and advanced through the early rounds of casting, only to miss out the step before the blind auditions; and in 2021 he turned down a recording/development deal with a record label in Nashville.

When Bryan isn’t playing his own music, he covers a wide range of styles and vibes. That range spans decades, from the 60’s to today; highlighting classic rock, grunge, country, pop, and rap. To give you an idea of his range, Bryan has been the lead singer and guitar player for three tribute bands over the years: Mother’s Milk (A Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute), Midwestern (A Tribute to Jason Isbell), and Continuum (A John Mayer Tribute).
